Wise Old Blogger® Tip for XP, Vista & Windows 7

Choose your own screen resolution: With all browser windows minimized, right-click an open area of the desktop and choose Properties; under the Settings tab choose your favorite screen resolution, under Color Quality try the highest (32 bit) if available, then click Apply. For Windows Vista and Windows 7, right-click the desktop and choose Screen Resolution.

For Windows XP, the Appearance tab reveals the Effects button -- put a check in Smooth edges of screen fonts: select from Standard or Clear Type. Next, open a web page (any web page); at the top of the Internet Explorer browser find the View Menu, under Text Size try Medium.
